For technology this week, we made hotcakes with ice cream and chocolate sauce. We learnt the different things that go in to make hotcakes and how to know when one is ready to flip over. We also learnt the differences between hotcakes and pancakes. I found this really fun and I enjoyed making and eating the dish.

For tech today we made an quiche. The quiche had bacon, onion and with cheese on top. We learnt how to make it and like always my partner and I both had different jobs. The quiche tasted nice and I couldn’t wait to show the recipe to my family at home.

Technology: Potato Salad

For Technology, we made Potato Salad with Sausages. We learnt a lot of things like knowing when an egg is ready and when and how long potatoes should be boiled for it to be edible. I found that the cooking part was a little bit hard but once I got the hang of it, it was really fun and intreseting.

Food Technology

Food Technology 29 August 2017

During our first lesson of Food Tech our group made Oreo Milkshakes. When we first arrived we were to wash our hands and put on aprons. The teacher told us a bunch of rules of how everything worked around there. Then, we made the milkshakes. We were also given some responsibilities like washing the dishes and cleaning our bench. At the end of the lesson we got to enjoy our drinks. The drinks tasted delicious and now I can’t wait for the next lesson.

Fruit Juice Names

Fruit Juice Names

For Technology we had to come up with a Fruit Juice name for our Juice Box. We had to list down a fruit juice flavour, words and noises that people make when they drink their juices, and combine the different noises and words together. We had to pick the best one and use it as our name brand for our Juice Box. I chose the combination "Peachy Bliss".

Technology: Sewing Class

During technology my class the sewing block had to make an cushion case.. To make the cushion case we had to make a hardcover and 2 fabric squares with any desired pattern. This is what we finished this monday and hopefully next term when we come back we can finish the cushion and the case and have a soft pillow to use during the winter time.
